Will Shiroko ever warm up to the idea of having kids, or is she forever convinced she will be just as bad as her mom?
This has a lot to do with I think mellowing out and finding purpose for herself. 7-10 years and she still feels shadowed by her mother. I think finding purpose outside of wishy washiness might help.

Or someone makes her biological clock ring all the time.
